Off with the family mid august just wondering what area to stay in. Prefer self catering a la air b n b etc but having never been there before not sure what side of the city is best

We're going in August and are staying at the STAY. 100m2 apartment with all the mod cons.

I've used the STAY apartments at Islands Brygge.
Old warehouse with minimalist style, plain painted concrete etc.

Large underground secure parking area.
Has a supermarket and couple of restaurants.
Also nice roof terrace if the weather is good.

There is a bridge a short walk away which will take you over to the
Fisketovert shopping centre. Fast food court etc.

If you are driving - take care with the cyclists, far more than you have in London.

Stayed at the Best Western as my girlfriend's work had booked it, 5 minutes to Tivoli on foot. It was clean, presentable, free wifi and a buffet breakfast.
