Nice ported xflow head though if it's true...

But the counter-ad:

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/121695777865

Is this the way forward if eBay can't sort themselves out? - maybe the ad is genuine but the text looks like it was lifted from somewhere...

Yep, post edited...
Let's just hope the buyer doesn't have the problems of the Swedish guy then and get scrap delivered. Or that the seller isn't the bloke that has had about 20 eBay usernames for doing just that.

The initial ad is a scam, all the text listed after: "On 03-Jul-15 at 23:00:08 BST, seller added the following information:" is copied and pasted directly from a post on a motorcycle forum in 2012 (third post down on this link): http://www.accessnorton.com/head-flow-testing-t864...

I have reported the ad as fraudulent, frustratingly eBay's reporting function doesn't give you the option to actually type anything, it's all drop-down categories. I can't find an email address for eBay customer service anywhere. Hope others can report this too and the winning bidder doesn't get scammed.

Well spotted

'I did a handful of these heads for...Johnny Herbert and Ayrton Senna...'

SCAM!!!!!!

So the counter-ad is right he must be that seller that was doing the ford parts that were never sent or were substituted for scrap parts - wasn't there something about a scam with an 'ex Senna' FF chassis being advertised from Yorkshire a while back?

Looking at the bids and previous items etc it seems the bidder with no feedback is probably the seller

There's even a contact phone number on the ad - he may get some calls now

I'm baffled by the point of the sellers efforts - it's not like he's selling an item where the buyer wouldn't notice it was wrong, and eBay/Paypal more or less refund automatically if a buyer complains.
