Double plates

I'm wondering about lowering the mounting of my front plate, and putting a second showplate in it's place with the name of my company as a bit of advertising.

I can't see any law that says you can only display one plate. As long as the original one is visible - can you see anything illegal with this?

Enough trucks about with the driver's name/nickname on a fake plate.

But you're far less likely to have to explain your logic at the roadside if you keep the actual plate in the normal position.
