The latest attempts by a group of cretins to get themselves Darwin Awards has just taken place with one British man being gored "between the anus and genitals" yikes, a local government official said. His injuries were not thought to be life-threatening (what a shame).

So the question is: does everyone injured as a result get hit with a bill for the full cost of treatment? I would damn well hope so... Utter, utter fkwits.

They get hit twice. First the bull, and then the bill.

I hope they hit severe turbulence on the way home.

Between the Anus and the Balls, I still can't decide whether he's been very lucky, or very unlucky.

It must be an adrenaline rush, but I suspect the bulls are very badly treated and distressed which means it is unfair.

I'm afraid I'm going to stick up for the bull running.

Ive done it and it really is quite something, my Dad ran with the Bulls at age 72 ( and again at 73)

I'd be surprised if more don't come on in favour of the event.

Any injuries are a risk that you factor in and to be honest there aren't that many bull related ones taking into consideration the thousands who take part.

Are the bull poorly treated?

They mostly end up in a bullfight and die by the sword, it's not a humane death but it's a Spanish tradition and long may it continue.

Sorry, but I think this is, and excuse the pun, bullst. Just because something is 'traditional' doesn't make it right morally. Can we advocate slavery, as that was tradition too, for a while? Surely the strive for an enlightened society is to recognize that some acts are just fking barbaric and belong in the stone ages - like this.

Presumably you support them throwing donkeys off of towers too? It being a tradition and all.

Or perhaps I just don't agree with banning everything that upsets the current sensibilities of a certain group of people.

I don't support slavery. The big difference is that slavery actually harms a person, or even denies his right to be a person at all. This doesn't.

Apart from the guy who nearly had his arse ripped out?

Recently discovered another wonderful "tradition" in some villages - yes catch a cat or dog, tie to a pole then set fire to it - whilst alive of course.. Ah, traditions, got to support them right?!?!

Got to wonder just what is wrong with people to think that deliberately hurting animals and torturing them to death is acceptable.

Which do they light the pole or the cat?

I think most of this stuff dates back to before TV and people being able to buy fireworks. Sounds like the Spanish have some good tips for ISIS in terms of evening entertainments.

Is there a subject, any subject at all, that you are not angry about?

I nearly made the slavery analogy in my earlier post but decided against it. So, in your mind, as long as it is just an animal, anything is fair game.

Surely he chose to do it and knew that was a risk?
It's not like they led the bull run through his bedroom while he was slinging one up his missus?
