Ok, so i was wondering how easy is it to install a turbo in a car. The turbo i was talking about is this one
https://www.turbobygarrett.com/turbobygarrett/turb...

It says the turbo is fit for 1.4 - 2.5L engines and can produce around 200-400hp.

ok so basically i bought myself a citreon C2 vts, and it has a 1.6 Non turbo engine, producing 125bhp. i want to make it produce around 200-250 bhp so if i simply install this turbo would i get that.

Also i would like to know if i have to do anything else for this turbo to even work properly, for example cooling and other stuff. Please tell me if there is anything else you would need to buy your car for the turbo to work properly.

EDIT by Otispunkmeyer: 1) You've posted this as a Wiki? Might wanna change to an actual post.

2) You'll probably need extra cooling (big water radiator, perhaps an oil cooler as well to cool oil being passed round the turbo shaft).

3) if going for big power, you may also need to reduce the compression ratio. NA engines with a bit of power tend to have 10/11:1 compression ratio, some engines are even higher than this at 13:1

Turbo engines generally run 8-9:1 compression.

If there is no knock sensor, I'd consider installing one.
