The NECPWA classic car show is at Newby Hall again. Well over 1,000 cars last year (may be up to 1,500) and it had the largest collection of Jensen Interceptors I've ever seen.
It is on the same day as the Porsche festival at Lotherton Hall so plenty to see next weekend.

Thanks for the heads up on this one. Hadn't realised this show was on and Newby Hall is a great venue . Hoping to head over in the SD1. Not sure what the situation is for just turning up and displaying a car as the website sounds like you need to apply . Can always chance it though !

Didn't see your SD1 so assume you couldn't get in? I think you were looking for one for a long time in the SD1 Club? I gave up with that club, deleted my posts and then sold my SD1 (the South African one you may remember it) to a garage in Sheffield who sell and also hire classics for film and TV work.

Counted 17 Interceptors this year.....

No unfortunately couldn't get there. Managed a run to East Kirby weekend before for the big Rover show, 200 mile round trip and all went well.

Was looking for a while then had a brief dalliance with a Jag XK (2006) got bored quickly and found an SD1 V8. I did miss a couple of nice SD1 that came on the market once I'd got the Jag, including yours and the Red TP Vitesse that sold via Facebook.

Here's mine :

I'm still in the club, did you not rate it ? I've been in loads of classic car clubs including Jag Enthusiasts , Aston Martin OC , Porsche Club GB. Plus and minus to all of them really.

I've always had a soft spot for the SD1 - first one I've owned and must say I'm enjoying it !

I think I remember yours , Black SA car with grey velour, looked really smart.
