F57 JCW - start/stop

SWMBO new car is due to be delivered in the next couple of weeks.
Something we have always de-specced, but couldn't on the JCW is the stop start. Can anyone tell me if there is a way to permanently turn this off. There must be a way to have it programmed to default to off rather than on.
Yes I know it's there for a reason, but if we were worried about that we'd have bought the diesel. In my opinion the wear and tear on the starter motor system far outweighs any fuel saving.
