Hi folks

I see that ESPN has lost NHRA coverage to FOX Sports 1 for next year so I guess this will disappear from BT Sport/ESPN for us here in the UK. Any ideas how we can tune in to FOX Sports?

I always just watch it on 'Kmanns' drag channel on youtube, he puts em up pretty quick. Fox might be a sharper on shutting that down though. I hope that they work out some kind of pay per view system, would make way more sense

From the press release:

NHRA will sell advertising and sponsorship packages and assume responsibility for the production of the shows [...] as well as handle all international distribution for the programs.

I assume a deal will be made to air the programmes in Europe.

I certainly hope so - in the absence of any other high octane racing this will be sorely missed! I even find the whole sponsorship listing every time someone opens their mouths quite funny and ESPNs coverage is not lacking in any way shape or form

Just because it's not on ESPN in the USA next year doesn't mean to say it won't be on ESPN here next year as BT owns the channel now. So, I guess if BT are prepared to pay Fox Sports asking price, it could well remain on ESPN in the UK.

It seems more likely to end up on a Sky Sports channel to me.
