a great many of those saying and doing those things support the present leader of the opposition and his motley crew.
And vice versa.
Then you mean a great many don't support JC?

He just reminds me of a mad Chemistry Master with hedgerow hair and policies to match.
No, I mean many of JC & his motley crew support those saying & doing these things.
Great stuff from Rod Liddle: Spittle is the only thing Labour has left". Truly hilarious and so true!

Corbin not answering the question. He is a real politician after all!
I've never voted Labour anyway so it matters not, but I find this lot thoroughly distasteful. I suppose it's just a question of enjoying it while it lasts as they won't see power, but on some level I'd like to see a decent choice in politics.

So the new Labour leader and wannabe prime minister actively supported the terrorists murdering UK citizens. You really could not make this up!! In my view Cameron let Corbyn off lightly in his speech last week.

Wishing new-old elbow patch Labour the best of luck in 2025, they'll need it.

To be slightly more accurate, they supported the "wrong" terrorists.

On seeing that, this morning, my immediate thought was of an obvious analogy: it would be like a radical politician supporting ISIS today - attending their camps, making speeches for them, getting honours from them, then 20 years later becoming leader of the main opposition party and potentially PM. Which we would probably imagine to be unthinkable. But here we are...

If he had any chance of being PM I'd expect there'd be a few in NI who might want to how can I say, make sure he didn't get the chance.

Probably just as well for everyone he's a clueless weirdo worse than Miliband.

I would guess that someone in the press is currently researching his possible links to the Soviet Union back in the 70s and 80s, as that would make the full set. Having links to the IRA and wanting to give the Falklands back, being the others.

Wonder if they will be saving that up for the election? (if he makes it that far.).

It seems a bit early to be rubbishing him. Poor old Corby , he doesn't even have the left leaning section of the media on his side.

How do labour go about replacing him?

I am curious how none of this came up during the leadership campaign and mysteriously only now does it seem to be discovered.

It's the kind of thing that you would assume would put off a lot of voters voting for him in the leadership election.

Perhaps there's not as much to these reports as this thread suggests. hehe

They need to decide to get an electable leader first, as in electable in a general election, then they need to pick a leader who can do that. So no more Browns, a different Milliband, and definitly no more Corbyns!

Right but the problem is with their election procedure. All the electable candidates were discouraged early on (Dan Jarvis Chuka Ummuna etc) and the voters were presented with a load of failures from the past . . . and Corby.

It's extraordinary how useless they are at selecting electable candidates. They selected the wrong Miliband brother and now this guy. Blair (spits on ground) was the last electable candidate they selected.

The worst of it, kept secret until now, is that he is the separated big brother of Morrissey.
