Does anyone know of any places that you can legally be allowed to use for photos of super cars in the designated area described above? Tried at a couple of places and got asked to leave which is rather embarrassing, so hoping to organise a later event with proper locations.

Any advice/Places would be really helpful or people I need to speak to, to get access to certain places!

Not sure exactly what you're looking for. Do you just need a nice backdrop for a car pic, or a stately home, or what? Also, is this for one car or lots? Is it a commercial thing or just hobby photography?
Its more for a friend thats into automotive photography (but can't drive for medical reasons), and everywhere we went this weekend we got kicked off from unfortunately. (edith weston disused airfield for one. (and burley on the hill house by a snobby owner).

At the time there was a total of 17 cars - This was the group:
Rosso Mars Aventador Roadster
Yellow Aventador Coup
Orange Huracan
Red 430
Blue Porsche 911 C2 (996)
Black 991 C2S (997.2)
Blue Vauxhaull
Black Nissan GTR LM600
Carbon Grey AM DBS Volante
Loony White C63 AMG Coupe
Silver TVR Sagaris
Mini 210 Challenge
Azzurro California (bue) 458
Black 458
White 911 Turbo Cab
White 458 spider
Porsche Cayman S

Any suggestions of places we would be allowed would be greatly appreciated, I think in future will have to do it in a small er group as was a bit of a nightmare to manage.

i find asking first is usually best.

Have attended many photoshoots in the area.

Elverstone castle Derbyshire, leicester airfield, Rutland Water, Stanton Hall, Walton Hall have all be very helpful in the past.

Or use Public land eg large car parks in beautyspots lots around Derbyshire and Staffordshire

You are right in that :P

But unfortunately the lovely georgian palace/stately home and surrounding buildings are all owned by different people and one owner in particular, is not that pleasant about anyone on being on the communal part of the land - shame as would've been perfect for photos.

Hoping to get into Castle Cement quarry in the future but a lot of health and safety checks to be cleared.

Elverston castle is owned by the council. So you won't have that trouble. [url]

I can see why folks would get narked if it's private property, especially with a large group of shouty sportscars.

How about Rutland Water? Huge carparks, nice (and plain-ish) backdrop, just pick a quiet corner and snap away. You've so many cars that a fancy backdrop is kind of pointless anyway. Good luck smile
Yeah, Unfortunately there are several owners, and it is just one in particular that isn't overly pleasant, the rest don't mind providing you don't sit their revving the nuts off a car. But I know what you mean.

We considered it but on the day it was great weather, and didn't really fancy all the attention it could give rise to?

But in future we will probably opt for a smaller group!
