Looking at replacing the pagid discs I have on the car now as they're giving a bit of vibration under braking, and it seems like a few people have experienced this. Will probably use either Brembo or EBC discs, or have also seen Ferodo discs at a very competitive price too. Any recommendations or ones I should stay away from?

Not tried their discs, but been happy with their pads in the past. What's wrong with their discs?

They are virtually as bad as their pads!

Over the years I have tried pretty much all compounds from all companies and have has the misfortune to use EBC on several occasions with several compounds & they were all worse than plasticine.

Ebay has fake discs, be aware of where you're buying from.

I've never noticed anything more than a marginal difference between 3 figure top-of-the-line, and bargain basement £19 discs, as long as they are bedded in and treated properly. Thats from factors though, so some quality guaranteed at least; never tried el cheapo ebay jobbies.

Pads make the difference in my opinion.

Pads definately make much more difference in braking performance. Any issues I have had have been around track use & cracking of drilled discs.
