Morning Guys

I am thinking of having one of these fitted to ease gear changes-car gets occasional use only. Can anyone recommend a make and supplier for a braided hose?

thanks

G

I got a HEL one off ebay, does the job.
Don't think there's a massive difference between the brands, stainless steel is stainless steel after all.

Hi G,

Send me your address and I'll send you mine, no charge. I bought it for my old M3 Evo Convertible but sold it before I had the chance to fit it.

Tried my friend's car before and after his Bexley motor works braided hose was fitted and it was night and day - beforehand it felt like it needed a clutch after 25k miles, where as now i've sat in traffic jams with it and i've never felt a loss in pressure.

When I had mine done (ahem...about 15 years ago...) BMW had a braided hose as a "motorsport" part that they could supply.

Blimey, that does make me feel old!

It helped mine loads too, much more modulation with the clutch, especially noticeable when cold smile.

Outrun - if you have this still available I would be happy to buy it from you please?! Hoping to solve the incredibly low bite on my 97 Evo.

Otherwise I'm looking at the Bexley hose with the correct T-Piece for the Evo. Unless anyone has any opinions on other hoses with T-Piece available for less the the £60 (with delivery) Bexley charge?
