Afternoon all, looking for a bit of general advice if possible as I've finally bought a car worth keeping clean.

I'm looking for recommendations on a decent wax/polish, alloy cleaner/sealer and tyre paint? I'm based on building sites most days so I'm looking for something that gives a decent level of protection as well as a good finish.

Much appreciated..

Autoglym Super Resin polish followed by either Collinite 476S or FinishKare 1000P wax
Zaino Z16 for tyre dressing.

Obviously there are 1000+1 different options but these are cost effective & do what they say on the tin so to speak.

I'm a fan of the Auto Finesse range, Tough Coat sounds like it would be good for what you want. Have a look at the Polished Bliss website, they have a lot of guides, as well as selling all the kit you need.

As summit has already said, there are so many products out on the market now it can be quite difficult to know where to start.
A great industry standard is the Autoglym SRP route, easy to use and nice results but there are other options.

If you can spend a bit of time really going to town on your car then I'd certainly suggest claying and decontaminating the paint as that'll make everything else you do quite a lot easier and more effective too.
Choose a clay bar or a clay mitt, which ever you find easier really.

A good paint cleaner/polish will then give the paint more shine and slickness, which will make any future washing much easier.

Top that with some paint protection. So much out there so depending on your budget...

Wax - A few good ones from my point of view. Dodo Juice Supernatural Hybrid, Britemax Vantage, FK1000. All easy to use and should give you 3-4 months of protection.

Sealants - The new type of spray sealants are pretty much running the show at the moment due to their ease of use and performance. They are literally spray, wipe, buff. Done.
I really rate Zaino Z8 but Gtechniq C2v3 is also very easy to use as is Supernatural Acrylic Spritz.

Wet Coats - These take ease of use to the next level. Simply wash your car as normal then before you dry, either apply by trigger spray bottle or foam lance (product dependant) and then rinse again and dry.

Spray on - Carpro Hydro2 is such a great product but it's not cheap.
Gyeon Wet Coat is another good one.
Foam lance - Envy Car Care F.A is fairly new to the market and is a cracking product.
Krystal Kleen Detail Purity X is a similar thing and equally as good.

As for wheel cleaners...
Autosmart Smart Wheels is a cost effective option. Other good ones are Envy Car Care Evolution or Krystal Kleen Detail Brake Away
Wheel sealant, you could use a wax or sealant from the above choice.
Tyre dressing, loads to choose from and they're all pretty good so you don't need to spend a fortune.

I've probably rambled on for far too long but hope that's been of some help to you
