Recommend something interesting end of september

Have a week free end of September - any recommendations?!? Something interesting - no more than 5 hours away - would like a beach and nice food but would consider other types of interesting holiday.


By interesting it doesn't have to be anything super original but want it to be special.

Im off to Greece I think. Always fancied it and with things being cheap, in Europe in general, and particularly so in Greece then why not? Off to see the history in Athens and maybe a few other places close by.

Depends what you like... there are million and one things in the world within 5 hours, but is interesting to you doing a skydiving course or seeing some buildings in Rome?

Interesting to me are nice cities, especially when there are festivals / events going on. I don't mean music festivals.

Paris, Rome, Barcelona, New York, Helsinki, Berlin....

All fascinating cities with or without something going on. Go to any big city and there is always something to do if you're prepared to look.

Go to skyscanner, sort by price, book whichever you fancy.
