This is being held on 20/21 Nov in the Olympic stadium, so just down the road to me.

Anyone been before? I think it was held at Wembley not long ago.

I prefer the old Brands Hatch version -

It's long and can be quite dull to be honest, but if it's local and you can get a cheap ticket it's worth a look.

It's OK but not worth the high ticket prices to sit in the lower tiers which is where you need to be in order to see what is really going on. Sit in the cheap seats high up and it like watching scalectrix because you can't see the detail of what each driver is doing.

Went both times it was held in Wembley. I can't comment on VFM as the first time was a late bargain ticket off eBay, the second I was invited as a guest.

Plenty of action going on.

Although the current 'Race of Champions' is more akin to the old 'Rallysprint' format, like this:

Thanks everyone, think I'll leave it until nearer the time to see if any cheaper tickets become available.

The lower tier tickets are £80 each!

We went to Wembley years ago. Was a pretty easy going day and quite entertaining. We had expensive seats at the front (well into 3 figures I seem to recall) and the view was great.

It was bitterly cold though...

I enjoyed wembley but it wasn't even a quarter full and it was freezing, had to buy some extra clothes and a woolly hat from the merchandise stall.

Yep, I went to Wembley last time it was on and yes I can testify to the cold!! I still can't find my balls.

It won't be a sell out and I paid for the cheap seats and got a decent view of all the action. I wouldn't bother paying too much for a ticket as your not gaining that much extra.

I remember there was a lot of waiting around between races and the races were pretty short but they were pretty frenetic but they don't race alongside each other wheel to wheel - they run on their own track separated by barriers.

Lots of quality racers though. Schumacher, Coulthard were racing (hard) and Lewis was doing doughnuts in his Maclaren (back in a time when they worked) so bring your camera!

I'll probably go again as it's only down the road from me but I won't be spending loads on tickets and I will be wearing thermals this time. And a scarf. And gloves. And bring a Thermos - just let the bds try and take it off me!!
