I picked up my new (to me) 1.4k Supersport from a lovely chap near Colchester last night and drove it back to my place near Eye in Suffolk. My first time behind the wheel of a Caterham but I loved every second! Reminded me of my Elise, only with everything 'turned up to 11'! Looking forward to getting more time in the car this weekend.

Excellent biggrin

My first drive on my own was along a wet M25, but I was still grinning like the Cheshire Cat !smile

if you end up driving an elise after a caterham it feels like a caterham turned down to 2. biggrin

I have both and even my standard(ish) Elise S1 Sport 160 betters the Caterham quite easily in a number of areas, steering feel and absolute sharpness of handling being two. My car is running Nitron dampers though which makes quite a difference

It will be getting a bit more exciting over the coming weeks with a sports exhaust, harder engine and gearbox mounts, quickshift, complete brake upgrade and quick steering rack (2.2 turns lock to lock). Can't wait!

Totally appreciate however how a 111R or standard Exige etc may seem a little dull in comparison to a well spec'd Seven.
