This circa 81 / 82 Martini liveried Turbo belonged to a pal in circa 1985. He bought it from Colin Grant International, at Hornsey, in Nth London ( they are long gone )

3 up, me in the back, behind my great pal RS2000 Steve, who was the passenger, we had a scary high speed off in this Turbo one eve in the wet, in Brimsdown in Edmonton, Nth London, en route to Rifles a full of hot Totty pub.
It was raining and a Granada was hassling us, my pal ( a hopeless driver ) put his foot down, but he didn't know the road and the screen was misted, when suddenly a roundabout apeared in front of us out of the gloom, he braked and it locked up.....and started to slide.....I can still see in my minds eye his arms locked at an angle at the steering wheel, with his foot frozen to the brake pedal...we hit the central reservation and both right alloys were grinding against the kerb, we then entered the roundabout and the back end of the Turbo slewed right, as it did so the right front alloy hit the kerb of the roundabout, then the rear alloy did the same and we slid along the kerb.....,

The Turbo came to a stop and Steve jumped out closely followed by me, he had hit the dash and head butted the screen and I had hit the left rear window with my head, and bashed my knees on the seat back. Both front and rear suspension looked bent. After about ten minutes, we got back in and drove slowly back into Chingford. As we got to the end of Station rd the brakes went and we parked it up on a garage forecourt and got cabs home. Aparently the damage came to £6 grands worth to repair it !

It seems that he chopped that Turbo into to Charles Follet against a Grey 928 auto, possibly an S4 in circa 1987, Any ex Follet staff on here ?
