Hi ive been looking on the forum for a few months now, looking to purchase a Cerbera at some point and found this forum an interesting read. Once I decide to bite the bullet I will hopefully become a member of the TVR owners too.

See you around sometime soon I hope.

Good luck with your search. You wont regret it, we've several long term owners on here.
Do feel free to check on here if you're unsure about anything. A good one will have you giggling with joy everytime, a bad one can be expensive.

approx. 15k at the moment, that's the lower end I know, but I do have a classic mini that I might have to sell if the right one was to come along. (but I don't want to sell the mini lol)

Hey Joe smile

Welcome to this forum. Good bunch, plenty of willing to help others and there's no such thing as a silly question (except which engine is best).

You need to check chassis, what work has been done, if you read through what has been done to the one on the link, that's the type of Cerb you want to buy with all the important bits either upgraded or recently renewed, I know the owner he is a really nice guy and had the car over 15 years, but seriously read through the add and it will point you in the right direction on the type of Cerb you need to buy with your budget

It's broken though! Could be a bargain or could be a money pit.
No mention of chassis. A 98 car is one to inspect very carefully.
£10k over 10k miles may not mean much as that could easily be over 7 or 8 years and might suggest there are major costs to come eg suspension, clutch, slaves, chassis, water pipes, brakes, servicing, radiator, bushes, drop links, exhaust etc
