Collins is reportedly still chomping at the bit to fight RJJ, even now. He's always claimed RJJ avoided him and wants to put the record straight. Would have been an interesting fight 20 years ago, though I think I'd have been backing Jones quite heavily. https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=743725...
On the subject of RJJ, rumours are he could be fighting Enzo Maccarinelli next, and is targetting the IBF Cruiserweight title, which has just been stripped from Yoan Pablo Hernandez (whom Bellew was aiming for). However, first bite at that cherry goes to Ovil Mckenzie, who fights for it in Argentina in a couple of weeks...and what a brilliant story that would be if he could win a world title! Got everything crossed for the guy!

I can't believe Roy Jones Jr is still fighting...his 46...financial problems? His training Russian fighters too.
Anyone watch Buglioni v Chudinov?

Some really interesting news; Chris Eubank jr has signed with Matchroom and has joined up with Adam Booth!!!
Is Snr still lurking around?..The reason is...the artist formally known as Chris Eubank Snr has recently rebranded himself as 'English'...seriously, I st you not!!!
Apparently, having two people in the team called Chris was getting confusing, he didn't want to adopt the name 'Senior' out of deference/respect towards Floyd Mayweather Snr (or was it the bloke with the handlebar moustache on American Chopper...?!) and 'English' was his Dad's nickname due to him being something of an Anglophile!!!

Buglioni was brave enough but ultimately a class below Chudinov, who had a similar efficiency of movement as someone like Kovalev, but without the same power (luckily for Frank!). Not really sure where Frank goes here; can't honestly see him getting to world title level...maybe a fight with George Groves would be a decent idea next year as that could generate some interest (and a pay-day) if pushed as a 'career crossroads' fight with a bit of a local rivalry angle as well (both London boys and Chelsea fans).
Chisora fight was really dull. Wouldn't surprise me to see him cashing in his chips shortly by fighting AJ, then calling it quits...

Looks like Klitschko has been cleared to fight on 28th November, but they're awaiting Sky to confirm it can still do this as PPV on that date...
klitschko/fury headliner joshua/whyte undercard ppv november 28th........a good idea all round!!! and i'm waiting for the confirmation but it looks like it's happening
Well, a bloody big pat on the back to Ovil McKenzie! A massive underdog and a big step-up in level for him (as well as a daunting trip to Argentina) and yet he thoroughly deserved the draw and, for me, won that fight. In fairness, he was perhaps fortunate that he came up against one of the most limited world champions I've seen in a long while, but that's not McKenzie's issue...the opportunity came up for him and he's grasped it. Moreover, if he gets the re-match, which apparently he might, he can take a lot of confidence into that fight. Not only does he now have the experience of fighting at that level (and he did seem to lack belief in those opening rounds, despite winning the majority of them), he now knows what Ramirez is about, because I'm pretty sure what you see is what you get with him!
All in all, a jolly decent start to the weekend! Some intruiging Light Welterweight title fights from the US tonight too; Matthysse vs Postol and Allakhverdiev vs Broner. Looking forward to both...!

Postol stops mathysse!!!!!!!!!! I knew this guy had potential as a boxer but not really a puncher. Really surprised he got the stoppage. Especially so late in the fight after out boxing Lucas for the majority of the fight.I wish I'd have actually seen it.....off to youtube eAll in all, a jolly decent start to the weekend!
