Any thoughts on this one?
Discussion
Been scanning the classifieds on PH and seen this one http://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds/used-cars/c...
What are your thoughts? If its still available, may be worth the trek down to the SE (where most seem to reside unfortunately). Has been on PH for a while, but spec seems good if a bit rough round the edges, but I'm OK with that as I intend to do mainly track work.
Would probably need a windscreen for the occasional French frolic but other than that most other (track) bits are already there.

Could be good. You would need to see it to see if it's in ok condition or a raced-out wreck.
BTW doubt that power is even North of 140, so some poetic licence there.
If you are interested and want someone closer to have a quick look first, I'm in Surrey and could probably pop over of an evening

Hello Mike and Bert. It's mine. Apologies if I've got the power output wrong - it's what I was told IIRC by McMillan. The engine was built and sealed by them.
You are correct, it is a little rough around the edges, as it is an ex-Grad car. I do let people know before they come to see me that this is not a garage queen and they can expect to see some scuffs but nothing major. Like the other Grad cars, it's had some knocks on track but mechanically and chassis-wise is close to perfect (to the best of my humble knowledge! ). I only managed 3 races and one trackday last year and sadly don't have the time for the Grads. Plus I'm running a GT3 in the CSCC this year so haven't even taken the Caterham out. Doesn't make much sense to hang onto it and I have most of the road gear (lights, tonneau etc) but not the windscreen.
