I've just part-ex'ed my 2012 BMW M6 for a 2011 GTR. It's got a remap to 600 BHP, y pipe change and upgraded discs/pads.

I've had BMs for 20+ years but wanted something more engaging and raw.... M6 didn't do it for me ... but after a test drive the GTR definitely fits the bill smile

I'm looking forwards to getting to learn how to drive 'godzilla' properly over the coming weeks.

It'll be interesting to hear what you think.

I've had a GTR for two years as a weekend toy and it's completely different to other cars in lots of ways.

Look forward to an update.

The title alone put a massive smile on my face. Just remember though, all Nissans come with indicators fitted as standard so no excuses!! tongue out

Ok so I've had the GTR now for a week. Just putting the new plate on it (GO52LLA) and hope to get some photos over the weekend... assuming the rain stops smile

First impressions... it's fantastic and everything I'd hoped for in terms of driver engagement, speed and handling. It's very different to the M6 and I feel a lot more secure on corners and it is very planted. The 4WD with this power makes a major difference. I'd floor it in the M6 and the back end would squirm and I'd had it come out a few times on corners.. and not in a good way. The GTR feels in control and there have been no surprises so far even when pushing it hard. It's about 100kgs lighter than the M6 but feels like a totally different car. I guess it's horses for courses and many people wouldn't like the rawness of the GTR. I love it... it's a monster smile

They're stunning cars.

I have a one in white but find it a bit hard for my aging bones. :-(

I totally agree about the handling. They stick to the road like glue.

Try the Michelin Super Sport tyres and the Litchfield suspension, apparently improves the ride comfort considerably.( I have the tyres but not the suspension kit on mine and just the tyres make a big difference over the run flats)
