Looking forward to Spa. Higher speed should suit Williams more, Mercedes will want to look good again after Hungary, happy Vettel. Has Verstappen driven Spa before in any previous formula?

Good call, we got ever so slightly drenched last year.

It was a little more expensive but I think shelter from the elements is worth it, whether it is sun or rain (hoping for sun smile)

We are staying in a village called Nirdum which is around 25km east of Spa, so 1/2 in good conditions but i've no idea how long on the Sunday morning.

Definately. If we go back again, I'd go for a covered grandstand too. We stayed in Waimes about 10miles East of the circuit. Getting in was fine, no dramas on race day. Getting out was a complete clusterfk. One of the worst traffic controlled exits from an event I'd ever seen smile

Probably my favorite track on the calander. Really looking forward to it. Would love to go and watch live one year but the funds need to be there first.

Looks like we will be passing through Waimes on the way to the circuit, so its good to hear getting in was fine, I am not too bothered about a delay getting out.

A bit early for predictions, but

Qualifying
1 Hamilton
2 Rosberg
3 Bottas

Race
1 Hamilton
2 Vettel
3 Rosberg

The problem with Spa is its a cracking track in the wrong place!

Its too far to drive down for the weekend, but not far enough or fun enough drive to make a holiday of it, and nothing else around (boring belgium).

Hence I'm driving down to Monza smile

I'll be doing the reverse from a lot of you lot.

Normally go for covered grandstand but this time we're going to give GA a go. £90 for a weekend ticket swung it.

Managed to bag a villa about 4km away, so we'll have a stroll to the circuit each morning loaded up with umbrellas and beer.

Cant wait!

Anyone on here tried sitting at the bus stop on race day using GA tickets? I assume we would need to get there at silly o clock?

Yep silly o'clock which is why we camp. Roll out of bed stagger a few hundred meters and set up camp for the day and just pray it doesn't piss it down.

I don't suppose your preys have ever been answered biggrin

What time do the gates open? I'm thinking La Source in particular (if it makes a difference)

I concur.

Belgian beer and kebabs were outstanding every time I've visited, good music scene in the cities and quite a bit of "culture" stuff to.

One of my favourite countries, very friendly and reasonably priced. Always felt safe there to, in comparison to places like Barcelona where you feel like you are always a step away from being pick pocketed or ripped off.

Apparently it will be the first time they have more power than Australia this season! It seems very strange - you have to wonder if Honda are trying to keep something secret they believe will work in the long run, or if they're just clueless and taking far too long with updates.
