Just got back with some friends from our annual trip around Europe and did it in our new (to me) M6. Apart from the sheer size of the thing in the alpine passes I can't fault the car at all! Sat in traffic and kept us cool for hours and when asked it easily got close to 200mph (upcoming other cars necessitated a slow down for safety).
Will need a few days to get it gleaming again as its covered in brake dust and flies now but apart from that it's unscathed.

Going to be a little more pro next year as everyone wanted me to lead and sort out hotels yet again so doing a route all prebooked and arranged for the other 3 cars if anyone wants to tag along.

We did the Stelvio pass, Davis, and a few other even better passes by sheer luck. Didn't get time to run up Col del la bonnetti this time but been there before. Averaged 21mpg which is not bad since it dropped below 10mpg a few time whilst in Germany... smile

Pictures later once I've pulled them of my none Apple phone.

Be warned though as one of the group got pulled in stty Switzerland for 150kph in a 120 zone and had to pay 580euros!! We all chipped in to save the pain so not to bad overall. He said the fine list they used went into the 1000's so it can get expensive there.

The F12 M6 is a much better GT car than a Bentley Conti GT, FF or F12 Ferraris in my opinion. It just does everything so so well.
