Everything is under the start menu (or whatever it's called in the latest Windows) or the dock on my Mac, autohide dock when not in use so desktop looks nice and tidy. I used to have loads of icons years ago but I now find I am much more organised without them.
+1 for Autohide dock on the Mac.

Do people still use those PC things??

Not rally sure as I put it there the day I bought the PC and have not changed it. I see others have been able to put their images across 2 screens though. I see that I have the picture set to tile and it is slightly cut off but that does not touch the sheep just makes each sheep fill my screen

Work desktop, subtle but nerdy. Spends most of it's time covered by emails and teamviewer (not youtube and pistonheads oh no) anyway.
