Nationwide assesment centre - anyone been?

I have been invited to a assesment centre day after applying for a job at Nationwide Swindon.
Excited about the possibility of working there, the work sounds exciting and the rewards are pretty good for Swindon.

Has anyone been to an assesment centre? What are they looking for, what can i expect?

I went to a lloyds bank one probably 15 years ago now I wasn't successful I was just out of Uni and hadn't even had a job nevermind any experience of job interviews or assessment centres!

If it's anything like mine expect a full day of interviews, desk exercises, role play, group exercises with recruiters looking in etc...

It's difficult to know what they are expecting to see. Do they want leaders or thinkers? Some in mine were attending for the third year running and it was obvious, they knew what they were doing and were trying to muscle us newbies out of the group exercise.

Recently went to a interview which I was successful at but I don't think that's the same as the assessment day though .. I'd say learn the NW Behaviours and prepare for what they could ask you around them. DM me with your email if you dont have the NW behaviours.
