Due to diary clashes etc, our annual day out to the GBBF is unlikely to go ahead this year.

IM looking for ideas for a replacement dau out later this summer.

Ive heard of the Bermondsey ber mile, so thats on the radar. We did the Fullers tour last summer...

Any ideas chaps ?

Bermondsey beer mile is a fantastic day out with amazing beer to be drunk, but be warned though Kernel is shutting its doors the public soon until they find another tap location...

If you're looking for something in the Londonish area there's a beer festival at Watford Masonic Hall next weekend - over 80 beers and 40 ciders, £3 per pint. it's about 4 minutes walk from Watford Met tube station and about 8 from Watford Junction rail.
Details are at http://www.watfordbeerfest.co.uk/

IMBC (Indy Manchester Beer Convention) is absolutely amazing.

In it's fourth year now, a lot more independent than some of the ale festivals.
Held in beautiful Victorian swimming baths.

It's in Manchester though, so may be a little further away than you were considering!
