Scrap value?

I am in the throws of getting a new Jag. And the old one may go for scrap - the sills need a good bit of welding to pass the next MOT (October I think). It's a tired X300 XJ Sport 3.2, good set of tyres, but everything else a bit shagged out - headlining droopy, final drive whining, budget sports exhaust (i.e. a great big hole), lacquer started to give up, no air-con etc. etc. - although engine appears indestructible and she still drives straight.

Is it worth trying to sell as 'spares or repair', or should I take her on one last trip to the scrappy (sob). Do they ever fetch much in a sorry state?
