Hi all. I've just had a front wing resprayed, and it's not quite the exact shade as the rest of the car. (The car's 20 years old, and has had various bits repainted in its life.)

I'm wondering if a regular use of Colour Magic polish would help "blend" it in to the rest of the car.

Am I crazy?

Won't make any difference I'm afraid. The idea of those is to 'fill in' light scratches & chips.

Why did you have it resprayed? If after a bump & done under insurance I would expect the bodyshop to have matched it better. TBH whatever the reason it should be matched better. Maybe go back to them & have the adjacent panels mopped over to get back to near the original/correct colour & match in better.
