Ford's Guard is a colour you don't see often but is a dark greenish grey which looks smart. I remember years ago being given a lift home from school in a then brand new J reg Ford Sierra in a similar colour.

I've taken 49 Mustang orders to date, only one in Guard.

Not sure if it's that rare, but this is the first TTS I've seen in yellow. Looks great.

My m3 in Techno Violet
Absolutely stunning! My favourite BMW colour with the exception of Hell Red.
+ 1 no other words than absolutely stunning.

If I ever see a coupe like yours come up I would be struggling not to. One of my all time favourite colours from BMW. Think I may have a thing for purple cars hehe

Oh my, that is stunning. Not just because of the colour though. More pics?
How about a shot of it at Hethel?

The Evoque originaly quoted is Zanzibar, Kaikoura has replaced that and yes it is a shade lighter.

My current demo is this Disco Sport HSE Lux in Kaikoura:

....and very nice it looks too.

My lovely old and much missed ZT-T 180 came in a colour called Typhoon Monogram. Flipped between blue and purple. Looked good at night.

The colour extended to the fascia.

Some lovely colours on this thread. I believe the colour of my E36 M3 is very rare - never shows up on lists of colours/how many made etc. Called "veilchenblau" which obviously means Violet Blue.

How popular is it for other Fords? What do people prefer on a Mustang?

Red Imprezas - more so the new age models. Can't remember when I last saw one in a plain old red.

Saw one of these a few weeks back:

205 GTi in Miami Blue, of course. 300 made.
There were 300 Miami Blue 1.6 Gtis and 300 1.9 Gtis made in 1990, along with 300 1.6 & 1.9 Gtis in Sorrento Green, but then Miami Blue and Sorrento Green became standard colours in later years.

The car pictured is a J-plate so first registered 1 August 1991 – 31 July 1992.
I've got a J plate 1.6 in the same colour smile best colour you can get them in IMO.

I'll nominate my 7er in Barbados Green, not sure if it's cheating as it's an Individual colour. Certainly haven't seen another in the same colour. Makes a nice change from the usual blacks and silvers.

So you take a pretty quick RWD car, which is known to be a bit tail happy and seems to have magnetic panels attracted to road furniture, especially in the wet and in the wrong hands, make it up to 655hp and then put the cheapest, nastiest tyres on the driven wheels you can find. I believe those are BCT S800's, I had to put a set of cheap tyres on the E46 for MOT/a month or so, she needed 4 new boots but rears still had life in them, I ended up with BCT S800's, I've had cars with st tyres, but the BCT's, they are up there with Triangle, Linglong and Wanli.

Surprised that hasn't been in a wall/lampost/armco/hedge/sign/fence etc yet, why scrimp on tyres when you're putting that much power down?

Then again I could be wrong and I may have got the tyre tread pattern wrong and they could be good tyres, but they do look like BCT.
Maybe he rips the crap of them by drifting a tail happy car in the right hands

A little shameless as it's my car but my T350 is one of only 3 TVRs (the others being a Tuscan and a wedge) in Toyota blackish red. My wife has christened it Dr Pepper as it can look, black, purple, brown or red depending on the light/shade. When the sun hits it the metallic red fires through;

Very much a late 1990's colour; I've seen 3 around our local area, including our own

I used to drive a Ferrari red Jag XType. At one time it was the only red Jaguar in all of Canada.
