My garage has just informed me my alloy is cracked. Can anyone recommend a wheel refurb place in West Leeds that does crack repairs?

I heard from a friend of a friend that isn't isn't really safe to repair a cracked wheel.

Opinions?

I had a small crack in one wheel on my Jeep SRT8 welded soon after I bought it. With new wheels, imported, at about £800 I was told, it had to be worth a try. Passed the next 2 MoTs. You couldn't even see where it was.
