For Steel Rolex , I was told today.

No discount either and reduced discount on gold models as the Rolex pressure bites.

Pushing more business towards Iconic , Blowers and DH amongst others

Well known AD in Glasgow adopted that strategy a while back but it seems that people voted with their feet and took their business elsewhere.

They now offer it again! It's that or discount, not both.

Absolutely.
I was in Goldsmiths in Birmingham Bullring last month and was told they will offer 0% on anything, discounts will always be hard to come by in the UK.
If you have the cash, I'd buy abroad for a better deal (Italy, Greece etc.) and if I was going to use 0% I'd buy from the UK.
Saying that, I could've had a better deal on the Pelagos I took on 0% there, but it was nice to have a chat with someone and have a decent buying experience. smile

I asked about a GMT Blnr about five weeks ago in NG , £5950 not a penny off.

None in stock but I'll ring you when we get one in.

I was in Gran Canaria two weeks ago , same watch for £5400 from a Rolex AD.

There's my card , thank you very much.

Back in NG yesterday looking a something for the dragon , same chap comes over and notices my watch and preaches on about buying from a grey dealer when I had to repeat it was from an AD.

The icing on the cake was they had one in stock but he hadn't even bothered ringing anyway.

NG , doing a fine job in pushing business elsewhere.

Some of us buy a nice watch because it's a nice thing - no need to be a cock about it.

Some might say that if you buy a Rolex, by definition you are a cock.
