Recommendations/Advice on Disco 4 or 4.4 TDv8 Vogue.

'We' (Parents) are looking at replacing our A5 Sportback 3L Family car with either a Disco 4 or Vogue. (dad thinks space in back of sport isn't big enough hence why I didn't mention it - but feel free to try and sway us that way with your opinion if you think its a better option).

In terms of use, mum will drive 20 miles a day 4 days a week in it then the odd trip here and there so not big mileage. Dad will use it predominantly for shooting, and the dogs (we have a fox red lab pup that is growing rather rapidly - such so that she can't fit in the boot of the a5 really).

Is there any specific things on spec we should make sure it should/should not have, any faults or things we should be aware of?
In terms of budget £35-40K I think will be the ceiling, in terms of colour Id say grey is probably the colour we would like.

I appreciate this is not much to go on, but will try and post replies/more info as thoughts/opinions/advice rolls in.
