It's a bony bike but black screens and aftermarket cans aren't really that special.
The nos bottle would have been much more special if hidden somewhere discretely.

How long does the bottle last and what kind of gains does it give you?

This is going to sound stupid but what does nos do?

Other than it makes it go faster. Is it plumbed in so that its like a constant additive to fuel so it works through the Rev range at all times and just needs re filling or is it really like the fast and the furious and there's a big red button you press and it squirts it in giving you a power boost whilst you hold it.
Is it noticeable ? Can you take any videos? I'm just intrigued as its not something I've ever seen other than in films.

Also that is a clean bike, I had one as my first bike. I never clicked with it but it was no where as clean as that.

Air contains about 20% oxygen, less so at altitude. N2O acts as a oxidiser to provide more oxygen for the combustion process.
But you can't just squirt NOS into a cylinder without a supplemental system to add more fuel, as more oxygen and same fuel equals a lean condition equals holes in the pistons unless you limit its use to a couple of seconds.
How you use it is up to you but usually it's deployed as a power shot, adding an amount BHP when activated although it's possible to ramp it up by rpm or speed ect. But a bottle won't last long then. Which is why it's more common to have a button to activate it. If you have it running as an automatic system, like anytime over XXXX rpm, then once the bottle is empty and you trigger the system, you'll just be flooding the motor with fuel and no oxygen.
Would be interesting for the OP to explain how it's operating and how he's achieved the fuel enrichment function.
Or it's just a bottle for show wink

As usual Im impressed by your knowledge. Between all the bhy threads and all those pesky fire blade bumming threads wink there's some pretty damn knowledgable folk on here.

I think I'd of chosen a different bike to start throwing what I assume is pretty big bucks at, but variety is the spice of life and everyone's different and all that

Cheers.
Would be interesting to see how the system has been installed as it requires quite a bit of plumbing and solenoids to achieve the injection of the NOS or NOS/Fuel mixture. Easy to hide in a cars engine bay, not so easy in a tight superbike.
Also the bottle looks suspect to me. When was the last time you saw a pressure vessel with ridges such as the bottle on this bike? Think of any gas canister/bottle and they're shaped the way they are for a very good reason. Ridges are pressure points and can cause a rupture.
And apparently a 10lb bottle in a car is good for about 10 1/4 mile runs so I can't see this tiddler lasting too long.
I suspect in this case however it's all show and no go.

Many years ago there was a skinhead with a cleft palate in Falkirk.
His name was Nos. I think his real name may have been Ross, but it was Nos he was called.
Maybe it's his bike.

When the insurance company ask whether there are any modifications and you say about this is there a prolonged session of being on hold or silence? I always thought a plumbed in NOS bottle was a non-starter when trying to insure anything for the road.

I think it depends what it's actually plumbed to.
For all we know this could be a cunningly disguised colostomy tank.

Handy for those make or break runs for the ferry when stopping may just cause you to miss it and holding it in is no longer an option...

A NOS catheter for your piss on long rides?

Great idea.

That's why the BMW GS has big fk off panniers, they're actually piss tanks.
No wonder the owners all seem so smug.

I have a feeling that bike would be quicker without an old insulated bottle and braided brake line hanging off the back of it.... laugh

If it is dual use I would want some sort of non-return valve on the bottle...
