Bank transfer

I can't find a hsbc branch open this weekend that will accept money.

My local Barclays operate a counter service and I personally bank with Barclays.

Can I pay a cash amount into my personal Barclays account and transfer it to hsbc business account and will the transfer be instant on a weekend or am I aswell to hold onto the cash until Monday morning and bank into hsbc.


I am pretty busy Monday morning and going to struggle to get to a branch.

Yes I think it will. Interbank transfers are done by "Faster Payments Service" and they can be done over the weekend.

Could depend on the amount of cash to transfer. HSBC limit me to £10,000 per day on faster payments.

Can you make multiple payments of 10k like in nationwide or is it just 1 x 10k payment?

£10k is the daily limit. How you make that up is entirely up to you.

This limit excludes transfers which you can do till your heart's content.
