Excellent show, couldn't believe it when the BBC canned it.

Back tonight at Nine on One.

Couldn't find another thread on this.

The last one in the series aired on Sunday and its been excellent all the way through.

Did anyone else watch it?

Watched the first 4, got some catching up to do as we went away.

The writers included some excellent dialogue that sounded authentic Victorian east end to me.

I would like to think a further series is on the way.

Unlikely, they were displaying Reid's obituary at the close of the 2nd series. I suspect thats it over.

yeah, you're right, I completely misconstrued that bit. There was the 'Obituary of Edmund Reid' but it was found in Best's office whilst he was still alive.

Really enjoyed this series. I find it very watchable and deliciously gruesome in parts smile

Just a heads up if you have Amazon prime, there is a new episode to view - "The strangers home". lasts just over 2 hrs so not the usual length.
