What a crap thread. May as well merge it with the 'Do you know someone that killed someone' thread.

Never murdered anyone thank god. But I somewhere have a very old photo of my school year. I think we're around twelve or thirteen. Among the 20 odd smiling faces in the photo, one was murdered by her jealous husband and hidden in a suitcase in the garage until police gained entry while he was in the pub and found her. Another ran a man down while speeding through a village and served time for killing him, another face in the pic was the passenger in that car, he killed himself about five years later. Two more faces in the photo got into a fight with each other just a few years ago and one died, the other is currently in prison. It seems if you were in my year at my school it's a pretty dangerous world out there. I'm only 35.
I went to school with the girl who was victim of "the cat and mouse killer". Also knew another guy when I was a kid who a few years later strangled his wife. Never killed anyone myself though.

It would be a much better thread if lots of PHers had murdered people?

No but my elder brother shared a dorm with Jeremy Bamber at school - was a thoroughly nasty piece of work by all accounts.
Gresham's? Good school.

When I was getting divorced, someone had a word in my ear and said thay know someone who could get her badly injured for £750 or killed for £500, apparently the former is more difficult than the latter.

Of course I said no.

An old work colleague (driving a 7.5t) managed to decorate his rear wheels with a cyclist some years ago, he had chosen a bad time to take 40 winks.

Yes it affected him rather badly, obviously not as badly as the loss to the family of the cyclist.

The legal arguments were extensive, the final prosecution was driving without due care and attention.

To this day he still works for the same company, after his ban he is also still driving the same sized vehicles.

Not spoken to him in some time now, not sure how it affects him in daily life/whilst driving etc.

A few, too few to mention.....

Who am I kidding? Love is grand, divorce is many many grand.
