MUBI film streaming. Any subscribers here?

I've got the app available on various things, subscription is £5 monthly or £40 annual. Films seem to be more independent stuff than the Netflix/Amazon Prime cinema releases. I can't quite work out how long films stay on there for, some of them on there now say how many days or hours they are available for.

Does anyone here subscribe to it? Worth it?

OK so I've read up on how the catalogue works now, they add a film every day, and it stays online for a month, so theres a rotation of about 30 films at any time. Current selection has The Third Man, The Men Who Stare At Goats, Dancer In The Dark, Eternal Sunshine Of The Spotless Mind… so I think thats good enough to go for, now just to decide whether to go monthly after the free month or stump up for a year.

Yep. I signed up a few months ago when it was only £21 for a year. I think it's great.

Really like the curated choice of having about 30 films on it at a time. I used to spend ages dredging through all the rubbish on Netflix/Amazon Prime.

Some of the stuff on MUBI is a bit mad-arty. There are some brilliant unknown (To me!) films on there too though. Some great well known films too.


Can watch it via my PS3, but the machines fans get a bit noisy.
Generally I just 'push' it from the MUBI iPhone app to my AppleTV. They are doing a native AppleTV app, hope it comes soon.

If you access their website from your computer, you get to see reviews of each film from other subscribers - Quite useful sometimes!
