there is an ad running in your threads that forces a pop up video. It's at the point that Pistonheads is unusable le on my iPhone. The ads are "food hacks" and I'm in the U.S.

That's exactly the same for me and I am in the U.S. As well. Every time I scroll it plays the post video

Disabling Java in Safari advanced settings seems to have resolved it, but at the expense of general webpage functionality. In my desktop these sane ads auto play loudly and the only way to stop them is to install a flash blocker, but again much to the detriment of page functionality.

Poor show PH, poor show.

Strange, I never had any of these problems when I was in the U.S for three months.

The auto play ads on windows (chrome and Firefox) started this week, the auto pop up video on iOS today.

It takes an age to load the ad so I browse until the ad loads. Disabling Java seems to have done the trick but PH, you need to do a little testing before taking down your site in the U.S.

Yup, same garbage here.

Another pop-up I'm getting is some magic school BS.

Is it true that IOS 9 will have an ad blocker? If so then after using PH for 10 years I will be turning on the ad blocker and turning off their revenue. I can take some ad as I know they are needed to keep the site up but this time the ads have effectively taken the mobile site down.

I often read the posts in this section and wonder why people are so angry. Well now I know. Not even a fking acknowledgement that the mobile site is effectively down for the U.S. Hay markets investors should get a clear message from this. PH don't care about their biggest market

Come on tech bods, this is getting silly. It's still not fixed and is supremely annoying. The forums are simply unusable unless Java is disabled which is a PITA.

It's some crap "food hacks" video (it's English too, not American) that pops up with the slightest hint of a scroll. Not just the once, but every time you touch the screen.

Guys, there's 3 separate threads on this same issue, none of which have had any sort of response.....what's going on????

I'm going to post this same reply onto all three threads with the hope that someone who can fix it notices.

If PH don't acknowledge this I'm going to report each thread on the topic to forcing the issue into their inbox.

That'll just go to the mods (who can't fix it)
You could try emailing support@pistonheads.com or oliver.moore@haymarket.com
As it's the weekend you may need to wait a few days.
