Worn throttle cable
Discussion
Not long had our CSR and we discovered the throttle cable had almost worn through where it attaches to the pedal. The cable passes through a slot cut in the pedal and obviously chafes on the sharp edge of the back of the slot.
Cure - formed a small curved weld at the bottom of the slot on the back of the pedal so the cable 'rides' over the curved surface and not the sharp edge of the slot.

Buy a new one and keep a spare Cure - formed a small curved weld at the bottom of the slot on the back of the pedal so the cable 'rides' over the curved surface and not the sharp edge of the slot.
