I cant remember which of our members was struggling with this car, but it looks nice on the pictures.
Whats the chassis like?
I am almost tempted to suggest a swap for a healthy 350i
I've already tried that route but he's not interested I think he's had such a bad time with the 390 that he's off tvrs for life. He's tried lots of stuff but cant seem to get it running properly. Its a great looking car (I prefer my wedges in dark colours) with what looks like from the photos a great chassis. I myself was trying to do a deal with smash for this car but couldn't get mine sold quickly enough as he wants his gone asap. Could be a corker if you can sort the running issue Whats the chassis like?

It certainly is a stunning looking Wedge...I feel for Smash as i was the guilty party who found it for him...I very nearly bought it myself as i love a black car with gold wheels...A wedge in this colour just looks the dogs for me...
It does make me wonder if there was an underlying issue when it was sold...I hope not as this was responsible for causing great misery..Scott is a nice fella and was loving the TVR experience early on...Then a week later the rest is history.
Pretty much everything has been changed and tested but to no avail..The last resort was getting the ECU rebuilt which had no positive effect...Very annoying...It could be a wire breaking down on the loom which is tucked away between the skin of the N\S inner wing...ARPITA...
Whatever it is will take someone with a lot of knowledge and patience to sort it out....Beyond that its a stunning motor.....

Would have loved the challenge but looks like its not going to happen. Been trying (half heartedly I admit) to sell mine but its not gone. Got it on car and classic which is not the widest audience. I suppose I should have gone the ebay/autotrader route but I cant be doing with all the numpties
wats ur lowest price bruv init .......
I'll giv u £500 u wont get mor than that
TVR? Who makes that then ?

Mega squirt it. Professional fitting and mapped for around 1-1.5k. Rare 390 on the road running sweet for 6k.

Edited to add.
Can't help but look at those nice shiny Magnecor leads........Rip me out and stick a standard set of Bosch ones on there first. I stuck a set of them on my 390 a few years back and it ran like a dog but they looked luverly. Stuck a set of Standard RR Classic V8 leads on from Halfrauds and it ran sweet as a nut.......

Got stopped twice on the 5 min drive to MOT to say how beautiful car is (and then tell me all about their uncle who used to race the old Shelby Morgan BGTs).
Turned many heads and...PASSED IT'S MOT!!!!
And if you'd like to buy it - tough - you're too slow - I've just confirmed sale.
I'm sure the new owner will probably say hello on here at some point in the future.
Thanks for all your help and patience with my (numerous) tantrums
