Anyone used Neighbour Consultation Scheme for extensions?

Will be applying to do a conservatory under the scheme - it seems relatively simple(ish).
Council website asks for 'plans'. On the Planning Portal website there is the link to Buy Plans - which seems to be Location Plans - like OS street maps.
I have one of these already and wondered if anyone has applied using their own drawings of an extension or conservatory and what was acceptable to submit - this is not architect's drawings - they are defintely not required for a conservatory.
Spoke to council on phone and they said your own drawings are fine as long as they show measurements - anyone done this - or have a link to any free resources?
