The 2011-on car is the best. If only it wasn't so crazy heavy it would be an all-time great. I drove one of these last week and that engine had me eating my words a bit, it is epic.

E39 M5 .......the only car you will ever need.

Being an owner of an E28 and and E34 and having driven all variants except the latest one. Each of the cars are very different having their own personality.

For me though, the E28 will always be the original and best.

It would be a toss up between the e34 and e39

Are the E28 & E34 and maybe the E39 getting to the point now that you don't really drive them instead they are proper garage queens.

Whereas E60. Onwards are still used to commute

I think this has been true of the E28 & E34 for quite a while
