19 year old was on a date with his girlfriend. Shooting was the result of a 'drugs bust' (from what I read it seems a buy was setup by undercover agents?).

Police claim he drove at them, autopsy results show he was shot in the back.

Parents are asking why there isn't more outrage over the shooting of their unarmed son.

Shot dead for 10g of cannabis when it is legal in other states is simply crazy.

As for the lack of outrage does anyone remember or even actually heard of the Kriss Donald killing?

Wow, surely an officer who shoots a chap in the back has to be charged? I mean, 19 years old FFS.

If you read the article you'll note he was shot dead for trying to run the officer over with his vehicle.

I don't understand this - if his back was turned and there was NO indication of threat from him then it's just a murder.
Normal, rational, sane people don't commit a murder like that if they then have to write a report on it. Shooting a random person you don't know if psychopathic, but a police officer would have to implicate him/herself in the crime.

So my logic suggests to me that there is more to it

Donald Trump, Bush and Rumsfeld and his GOP buddies have found that making the Police into an arm of Homeland Security and militarising even the most humble of small town coppers with machine-guns and tanks, they have created a killing machine.

Small towns can now only raise money through fines because of wholesale cuts in funding. The Cops get no respect from the people because they are now an armed revenue source.

No Taxation without..............BANG!

If you had read the article you will have noticed from his parents private autopsy report he was shot in the back which is a little tricky if you are trying to run someone over in a car is it not?

Given the media around Damilola Taylor, it terrible that I've never heard of this murder. Especially given the kidnap, and the way they killed him, an innocent 15 year old child frown

Have another, Ross Parker, https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Murder_of_Ross_Par...

In both instances the BBC was criticised for its lack of coverage. Political correctness and social cohesion again seems to trump white rights.

The claim will obviously be that he was trying to reverse over the officer.
