Stelvio route: check before driving

I'm currently in Bormio, Friday night there has been a landslide which fell on the Stelvio route just outside from Bormio (Bagni Vecchi for those who know the place).
Therefore the route is closed from and to Bormio. You can reach the Stelvio pass from Trafoi, but you must return back from the same road.
I've talked to the Carabinieri yesterday and current forecast is to reopen the road between the 13th and 15th of August, but it depends on what happens in the next days, as the landslide started about 500 m above the road and ended in tje river some 200 m further down.
As many are planning their trips to the Alps, I advise you to check if the route is open again before driving there.

Stelvio is open again, however not 24h and there are strong possibilities that it could be closed again in case of further strong rainfalls.
I'd advise anyone wishing to drive there to ask the Bormio Tourist office before being stuck.
