Well, having the 2.8 9-3 drop top in France is brilliant. Was looking forward to a day down the Route Napoleon heading for Antibes. Turned out that the traffic was so bad I had to bail out of that.

Over the 1016 miles down we did 30.3mpg which I was happy with as day 2 was all top down. During day one however we pulled into Chalon Sur Soane for an overnight and a nasty scraping noise could be heard. Seems the drivers side end of the bottom lip on the aero model had come away and been forced down to the road by the wind velocity. Made some running repairs by cutting away some loose flapping bits and a liberal application of tape pinched from the hotel. Its worn away a section of what I assume is headlamp washer pipe nut other than that all seems ok.

I had a quick browse for replacements, do these things drop off very often? They are very low at the front so I suspect they get bashed a lot. I think that if I try and remove the rest of it I'll cause myself more problems. What do you think?

Anyway, suppose I'm just showing off that I'm on holiday for another week and a bit.
