Hi Guys,

I've had an advisory on my MOT about steering rack bushes and it's prompted me to take a fresh look at my set-up.

The steering has been 'off' (bumpy, snatchy) for a while on my car and from my research steering bushes can have an effect. What I'd like to know is would going with harder bushes improve steering feel or would OEM be preferential? The car is a DC2 so I'd imagine the OEM is stiffer than most cars but I'd just like to hear your thoughts on if it's worth going poly or if OEM would be adequate.

I know it's open to interpretation but you thoughts would be welcome non the less.

'set up'? How about some maintenance first.

17 & 4

Here's the kit: http://www.racingxs.co.uk/index.php?route=product/...

I don't know why there's four smaller bushes but only two on the diagra, the Honda parts site also lists a requirement of four. Maybe it's just not possible to illustrate all four in the drawing?

They will have a minuscule effect on steering precision and a moderate effect on nvh. I would stick with the Honda ones.

noise, vibrations and harshness. Basically vibrations you can hear and feel.
