Escort Cosworth Prices

There seems to be a real spread of prices ranging late £teens up to £40k. Can anyone shed some light on this? Is there a particular model/spec/colour which is more sort after for I.e. Big turbo, leather etc..

Also I have noticed CWLX4 attached to some cars, what is this?

As an owner of one i'm obviously happy to see prices being strong but this for example is just a bit ridiculous at this point in time !!!

Prices do seem to vary, I think £30 - £35k is suitable to purchase one however.

I have just paid £33k for one with 66k on the clock, M reg with full leathers.

There was a time when £33k would get you either a very low mileage car or a concours example or even the very best of the highly modified cars.......but times have changed
