Had a fun day yesterday .Good variety of cars.. plenty of sunshine ...driving standards were very good apart from the guy who damaged his Renault after 10 mins of the track going "live".
Organisers ( Javellin ) did a great job .
Saw couple of PH stickers - one on a Radical ... I was out in a white 205gti .. One of my friends in his 205 gti turbo and my other mate was out in his twin engined v6 205gtii.-- which was awesome.
Big thanks to all the other drivers who made it a very enjoyable day:-)

I was watching for a while and saw all the 205s.
Nice selection of cars there.

Wasn't it the 18th yesterday?

I was there testing a few things with my new carbon bodied Caterham Levante. Didn't get out as much as I'd like and when I did it was mainly testing cooling modifications and the paddle shift system.

It was a very good day indeed, everyone was polite and driving standards were good. The only bad things were the marshals confiscating my SD card from the VBox claiming no timing is allowed and then getting black flagged for noise around 3pm once I started leaning on it a bit more.

I saw the White Megane that had dragged itself along a tyre wall. The chap looked very young and looked a bit sick afterwards. I hope he insured it.

That is a fine machine you have there. It sounded fantastic through the gears!!
Was loud though, you could hear it around the whole circuit, haha!

Haha thanks driving

It is on the loud side which is one of the reasons we were short shifting at 7 to 8,000rpm, the other is that it's just too scary to use the last 2 - 3,000rpm as it gets a bit mental.

It's more suited to the smoother tracks for flat out stuff. The exhausts need extending under the car to form a rear exit system rather than just the two side pipes, That's a winter job. Hopefully out in it again soon once a few more modifications and updates have been completed.

Was a good day and really enjoyed it. First outing for the Mini which performed admirably even in standard spec including run flats. I've already started looking buying some track rubber and pads. I took quite a bit of video which I finally got round to putting on youtube.

Nice day. Enjoyed it a lot. The black Atom was so quick. Thanks to the owner for taking a friend as a passenger.
