MK2 MR2's were available with cruise control - rocking horse poop, especially on the turbos.
My EP3 Type R had the leather seats! Lovely they were. THOSE however, are aftermarket re-trims.

These are the actual seats:

The current polo can be specced with curtain airbags £700 who would even consider this?

Or £35 for a air bag deactivation switch

I can see very few people choosing either although vw should be ashamed charging for one

Wow! I didn't know it was available!
To be 100% honest it never was in the UK frown Japan & some Euro countries only. I only ever saw it in tech documents & once on eBay, took a punt, bid, won & fitted it.

The merc vito panel van options list is pretty comprehensive as there's loads of stuff they offer more to fit to the luxury minibus variants... I bought mine in '07 and added comfort seats with lumbar adjust, webasto and electric foldback mirrors amongst other things (model already had A/C and auto)... can't be too many builders or companies that thought it'd be nice to add these things!

Fiat offer a real Espresso mkaer in the 500L

I have one! OK, mine isn't Fiat branded and I bought it separately from Lavazza rather than Fiat but it's brilliant if you're camping. I can run it off a jumpstart pack and make myself a proper espresso in the tent without even having to get out of the sleeping bag.

It also saves me from the horror of motorway service station coffee when I'm driving across Europe.

All VW Tourans come with a Webasto heater. Comes on automatically under 4C, or when the pollution index drops out of the red zone. smile

For years, they've also had the convenience option for closing/opening all windows/sunroof with the key fob. I had a 1996 Passat in the States that had that. It also had the infinitely variable wipe interval, which most people couldn't figure out.

loads of cars with remote central locking have that option.. people just don't realise.

Hold the lock or unlock button down for a bit longer and find out!

I had a 2007 Audi A3, which had alot of ticked boxes when new. Red/black leather, heated seats front and REAR, auto xenon's, cruise, satnav, TV tuner (although was analogue which didn't work when I bought it), iPod adapter in glove box, electric twin sun roof, Bose speakers, electric heated mirrors, auto dimming mirror...

Granted it had the 3.2 engine but that was over £8k extras when new. Excessive on an A3, but was great for me.

Airbag deactivation switch is surely for putting a baby/child seat in the front?

Volkswagen offer it too.

BMW Pure Metal Silver is BMW's most expensive paint option and gives a reflective chrome finish. There's a video about it on YouTube:

Another rare option, or accessory at least, is the White Line rear light for the 5 Series.

My Mk2 MR2 had cruise (Japan import) and climate control although I don't think the latter worked.
