Try and reattach headlining to roof. There's a thin layer of foam between the fabric and the roof and both layers have separated. The plan is to use spray glue in a can (like you get from craft shops). Lots of it between both layers, leave to go tacky for 20s, then rub it with a rag. Also have to reattach the roll bar cover but less confident it'll stick after reading the above. Might try some double sided carpet tape. Come to think of it, a st load of that might work for the headlining.

Also plan to install a remote clutch fluid reservoir to make my weekly inspection/top up less burdensome smile

Paint roller.worked a treat and still nice and neat

Full body-off restoration by Str8six in Newark. Job now completed and ready for collection next Saturday morning........excited bounce

Couple of other jobs.....front end paint, new tyres on the front and get my buckled 18" spider repaired. Also going to ask one of my customers about a repair job to the airbox backplates and then a re-map. Expensive year given that I have no talent whatsoever with the spanners (despite the fact that I sell them) but worth it given that I bought the Cerb 10 years ago with no intention of selling. Nice to see that values are on the up again though.

I would like two more 16" spiders with the front wheel offset, because I find that the rear tyres rub when I'm hauling large volume people. So, if you've got two for sale you know what to do!

March is going to be a big one.
Hopefully: New flywheel, tilton slave, New diff bushes, braided brake lines, new discs and pads up front, new pads for the rears and hopefully some Nitrons or double adjustable Protechs smile

That's going to be an expensive months... biggrin

Pictures please PS Nitrons are fantastic everyone here seems to really rate them with the Eibach progressive springs. I think I'll be upgrading to those springs when new ones are needed.

Haven't got it yet.
Ordered it through a group buy on Facebook smile
They're going to cut out some out of 2MM stainless steel.
Maybe you can still get one if you contact him smile

Yeah I'm still deciding. Heard good things about both of them.
But a lot of people are raving about the Nitrons so I'll probably go for those.

Who is the contact for these Nils? Im not a Facebook user?

You may have misunderstood me re the Nitrons:.. I bought my car with Nitrons already fitted and using Suplex springs. (Don't know if they are all like that or if Nitron supply their own springs)?
They are absolutely fantastic and am in no hurry to touch anything on that front. However if an upgrade or attention was ever needed to that area I hear that the combo of the Nitrons with Eibachs are tiptop and i'd go that route!

In short get those Nitrons they are fantastic!

Just been thinking and as i only have 1 silver key (removed the dangling spare and can't remember where i put it). Now my OCD is whizzing I'm thinking of replacing the dreaded key with a toggle flip switch instead.

Has anyone done this mod already and is it more stable/would you like to share pics of the new arrangement?

Thanks chaps and chapettes

Does anyone actually use that silver key?

As my lighter socket has fallen out, i'd like to change that whole center area (mine is the early version with a center speaker) and put a holder for the phone in there. Just how feasible is it to remove without taking the dash out?

Never used the key but once it used itself (went over a bump road and it wobbled enough to cut the car out) it was a motorway so I sh17 my pants and coasted to a safe area FROM BEING IN THE OVERTAKING LANE) since then and realising I have misplaced my 2nd silver key maybe a flick switch will make me feel better. smile might be a good idea to keep a lighter/PowerPoint there as you never know when tire weld and a compressor might be needed hence why I haven't gone to USB ports wink
